Organization of the library materials

Materials can be found located within the many topical folders of the library, starting with a broad category such as pro se assistance and then narrowing into sub-topics related to pro se assistance such as in-court programs, self-help centers, mobile self-help, etc.

There are two exceptions to the organization of the library folders. One is a folder labeled, "Highlighted Resources" and the other is a folder labeled, "State-by-State" resources. The "Highlighted Resources" folder contains a selection of both core resources or recommended resources. Novel or innovative programs are also placed in the highlighted resources folder. All of these same resources can also be found under other topic-specific resources in the library.

The "State-by-State" folder contains a host of materials from various states assembled into various documents. For example, the "Pro Se Self-Help Centers State Links" document provides links to pro se self-help centers in most of the 50 states.
