"The Supreme Judicial Court recently heard arguments in a landlord-tenant matter that could significantly change the definition of what it means to engage in the practice of law. The SJC will decide if a non-attorney agent, acting on behalf of a landlord, had engaged in the unauthorized practice of law by filing and litigating a complaint against a tenant in the Housing Court."
