New Rules May Keep Lawyers Away

Article describes how the new bankruptcy rules establish an income-based test of a debtors' ability to repay debts. In addition, there is a provision in the new rules stating that attorneys are to certify the accuracy of the financial information. This new law will effect the acceptance of bankruptcy cases by pro bono attorneys.
